Vascular & Smooth Muscle Physiology |

Organised by Ron Lynch, University of Arizona, Tucson, USA
and Christopher Garland, University of Oxford, UK
Tuesday 12 July 2011
Lecture theatre to be confirmed
This symposium will present recent research attempting to define and link cellular signalling microdomains to the integration of physiological function in the vasculature.
Topics to be addressed will focus on calcium and cAMP signalling, and include novel pathways involving acid-sensitive stores, the role of membrane rafts and caveolae in focusing cell signaling proteins, signalling microdomains in vascular endothelial and smooth muscle cells and the regulation of, in particular, TRP and potassium channels and Na/K ATPases. |
